If my files and data is deleted? How can i recover it?
ReplyDeleteHow did your files were deleted? Is it caused by the virus?
DeleteStep One: Scan and Sweep Away the Virus
Before you recover virus deleted files, first clean all possible viruses on your computer drive. There are number of anti-virus software that are available in market, such as, Norton, Avast, Quick Heal, AVG, MaCfee, etc. Using a dependable anti-virus application and running a complete scan of your computer to remove the virus.
Step Two: Recover Deleted Files after Virus Attack
After virus attack, computer drive may become corrupt and data turn into inaccessible. At this time, some users use System Restore in the hope of recovering computer and getting data back. However, System Restore isn’t intended for backing up personal files, so it cannot help you recover a personal file that has been deleted. You should regularly backup files and important data using a backup program. If you have backed up all your files, you can easily retrieve lost files from backups.
If there is no backup, you are not at the end. There is still a great way to get deleted files back. Jihosoft File Recovery software makes it possible to recover hidden files from virus. It performs a rigorous scan of the drive and recovers virus deleted files of various types, including photos, videos, audios, docs, xlsx, archives, and more. The recovery can be performed within few simple clicks:
1. Launch the program and choose a recovery mode.
2. Select the drive or partition to scan for lost files.
3. Preview scanned files and click “Recover” to recover virus deleted files.

DeleteIf I have inserted flash drive in an infected computer unit, how does virus works amd invades my flash drive? Can they infect my drive in just inserting my flash drive into the port? Or do I need to copy files from the unit to my flash drive before they can invade my drive??
ReplyDeleteHello Mr. Mark Daniel!
DeleteViruses can be written such that they will use flash drives to transfer themselves to other computers. It's actually a very common mechanism for some forms of malware to infect other machines. It's important to realize that and to understand that when you transfer a flash drive from one machine to another, you may very well be carrying malware with you.
Turn off Autoplay or Autorun
The other thing is to turn off autoplay on all of your machines. Autoplay or autorun is that thing that automatically detects that you've inserted a flash drive or a CD or a DVD and automatically runs a program to do something with the device you've just installed.
Malware writers have been able to take advantage of that.
When you insert your flashdrive into the port, it will not eventually infects unless you actually open the drive or let us say opening the dialog box of AUTORUN. The virus will spread after doing that. If you copy an infected file from the computer it will also infect your Flashdrive.
Is it okay to have more than one antivirus installed??
ReplyDeleteGood Day Mena! Using a multiple anti-virus programs is a bad idea. Here are the reason why.
Delete1.They will try to kill each other. Because antivirus programs search your system for programs that are monitoring and sending information about your system, a competing antivirus program that is monitoring and sending information about your system tends to look like a virus, so it will attempt to block it and remove it. A competing antivirus program that is monitoring and sending information about your system tends to look like a virus.
Delete2.They will fight over viruses. When an antivirus program encounters a virus, it removes it and quarantines it. But if a competing antivirus program sees that quarantined file and wants to remove and quarantine it in accordance with its own objectives, then it will repeatedly send reports and notifications about this virus that it is detecting, even though it is no longer actually a threat to your system. If you don’t want to continually get bogus warning messages, this will be a problem for you.
3. They will sap your power. Antivirus programs use a lot of your system memory to conduct system scans and other related operations. If you have two of these operating simultaneously, your system’s effectiveness can be greatly diminished or completely wiped out altogether, and without any benefit, since the two are performing redundant operations.
When it comes to protecting your computer, more protection is not better. Take some time to do the research and choose one comprehensive antivirus suite that has been independently tested to combat the latest known malware programs and that will singlehandedly arm your system to the teeth to protect it against every type of threat.
So all in all, You don’t need to install more than one antivirus program. In fact, running more than one antivirus program at the same time can cause conflicts and errors that make your antivirus protection less effective or not effective at all.
DeleteHow do I test a virus scanner??
ReplyDeleteHello Mena! To test your antivirus solution, follow these steps: Download the test from the official webpage of the EICAR organization http://www.eicar.org/. Click the Anti-Malware Testfile tab. Click Download on the left-side menu. Did I answer your question correctly?

DeleteWhy they create virus?
ReplyDeleteHello Lovely!
DeleteWhy Do People Create Computer Viruses?
An infinite series of viruses found over the net are designed for different objectives, some of these objectives are listed below:
- To gain control of or hack a computer and use it for specific tasks
- To generate money by using such malware as a cash machine
- To steal sensitive information (credit card numbers, passwords, personal details, data, etc.)
- To prove that they are capable of writing a virus
- For Revenge against a company
- To cripple a computer or network
Viruses usually gain access to the victim's computer following an accidental download by the computer user who is ignorant about the source of the program, such as a file sent from an instant messenger friend or email attachment.
